This Guide will help you to connect to the server and start playing World of Warcraft on MGAWoW.

First of All Welcome to MGAWoW and thanks for joining our growing community.
Please ensure you have both Classic WoW, The Burning Crusade and Warth of the Lich King installed on your computer system. If you don't have any of the expansions then you can still play just make sure you choose your correct expansion when creating an account. The game needs to be patched to 3.3.3a

Step 1:
Create a username and password via our main website. http://www.mgawow.co.uk. You can find the login area to the left of the main website. Underneath the login boxes please click the link "Create Account".

Select a desired username consisting of both letters and numbers

Select a desired password and re-type your password. Please ensure it is a foul proof password to prevent account hacking.

Select a security Question and Answer. Please note you need to remeber this information for future references such as you forgetting your Account Password.

If someone has referred you to MGA please type in a character name enabling you both for rewards.

Choose the expansion: If you are using only Classic WoW you select that, if you are using The Burning Crusade select that Or Wrath of the Lich King then selecct that..

Step 3:
For Windows XP users:
Go to your World of Warcraft directory (Default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\data\enUS), Within that folder locate "realmlist.WTF" file.

Open the file useing Notepad, You should see:

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist eu.version.worldofwarcraft.com

Replace the top line with:

set realmlist login.mgawow.co.uk

For Windows Vista Users
Go to your World of Warcraft directory (Default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\data\enUS), Within that folder locate "realmlist.WTF" file.

Copy the “realmlist.WTF” file to your desktop and open using notepad.

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist eu.version.worldofwarcraft.com

Replace the top line with:

set realmlist login.mgawow.co.uk

Then copy back into you World of Warcraft directory replacing the old “realmlist.WTF” file when prompted to do so (Make sure it goes in the enUS folder).

Step 4:
If all this is done then run the game create your character and Have Fun!

Having Trouble Connecting:
If you are having trouble connecting please check the following:
- You have patched to 3.3.3a
- You have changed Your realmlist

If you still cannot connect please seek on of the Game Master's on live chat. To do this goto the main website and to the right in the services section click on the "Chat Room" link.
